I had a good feeling about Talladega since last week. I could not wait for a few reasons. One, this race is aired during the day. No chance of falling asleep. Two, it is the fastest super speedway. Yes, this track makes me nervous, but draft racing is cool and there is nothing else like it! No one can ever predict who is going to win and what will take place at this track. If I could walk, I would have been jumping up and down before the start of the race from the anxiousness inside of me.
Jeremy looked like he popped out of a cannon right from the first wave of the green flag. Before I could blink the race was in its final laps and Jeremy was in eighth! I was so excited for him! Caution was out and as they came to the restart I was holding my breath. At this track its second nature to hold your breath, even though you know everyone on the track is aware of what to do.
The next thing I knew Jeremy crashed into the wall hard. I was instantly relieved when I saw him get out of the car on his own power. I was bummed of course, but glad he was OK! 🙂
I’m ok everyone just bruised up n pretty sore. Had a great run going just got clipped trying to avoid the 22. Thanks to all for the concern!
When I saw him tweet that, I knew he was ready for next week! ❤ He never gives up despite disappointment and to be successful in anything in life you must have an attitude like that. One of the many reasons Jeremy will get to the top!
I know for me personally, when I do my exercises, or go to a therapy session and it does not go well, it just gives me more drive to do better. It can be frustrating at times, but I can see the reward I am going for. I believe this is how Jeremy looks at the sport he loves! As a fan, it was disappointing to see the race end the way it did, but only one of many more races to come!
Gotta thank the good lord 4 keeping me safe! Also thank @SimpsonRacing 4 the belts n the safety gear they provide me with. ISP seats too!
Yes, thank you good Lord because Jeremy Clements has more tricks up his sleeve and is ready to show them to the racing world! ❤
